Co-Founder
Walter Cotte
Over 40 years of experience in crisis management and risk management. He has held senior positions in the Red Cross Movement, including former Director General, Director of National Relief and Operations, and Director of Volunteer Services of the Colombian Red Cross; Deputy Secretary General of Operational Programs, Regional Director for the Americas, Special Representative of the Secretary responsible for COVID-19 strategy, and Special Representative of the Secretary General to the United Nations in the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). He holds a degree in Risk Engineering and Administration and a Master's degree in International Cooperation.
Co-Founder
Ricardo Mena
Over 35 years of experience in disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, and disaster management. He has held senior positions in the United Nations Secretariat, including former Director and Head of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2025 Implementation and Monitoring Division, and Regional Head for the Americas and Caribbean of the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR); Head of Business Continuity Management Unit (Department of Management); and Regional Advisor for Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). He holds a Master's degree in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management.
